In New Mexico, nearly 31% of businesses are Hispanic-owned, compared to the national average of 12%, and that is according to U.S. Census data from way back in 2012. Based on New Mexico’s growing economy — we have outpaced national job growth since January — we have every reason to believe it’s an even greater percentage now.
