After over five decades in business, a local barbecue restaurant is closing a landmark location. Mr. Powdrell’s Barbecue House is closing its 4,000-square-foot facility at 11301 Central Ave. NE. The building is listed for $800,000, according to Crexi. The restaurant’s final day in operation is Sept. 30; its Fourth Street location will remain open.
