After 11 years, local food truck will expand to restaurant

After 11 years in business, most recently operating out of a food truck outside Marble Brewery, Don Choche is set to open a restaurant later this month.

On Friday, Don Choche Owner Jorge Samaniego confirmed that his business will open a restaurant at 7319 Fourth St. NW in Albuquerque. Samaniego said it was time to try out operating a restaurant.

The restaurant is slated to open March 24, Samaniego said.

The plan is to open for breakfast starting at 7 or 8 a.m. and stay open until 10 or 11 p.m.…
