Albuquerque businessman, entrepreneur Thomas Bonafair passes away

Thomas “Tom” Henry Bonafair, a New Mexico businessman and entrepreneur who worked across several industry sectors, passed away on May 20 at his home in Albuquerque. Bonafair was 81.

Born in 1940 in Pennsylvania, Bonafair earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and began his career at Ford Motor Co. The Bonafairs made Albuquerque their home in 1985 when he became president and CEO of New Mexico Beverage Co., a statewide beer distributorship.
