Albuquerque retailers among the first to receive approval for recreational cannabis licenses

Two Albuquerque businesses received the first license approvals for cannabis retailers in New Mexico earlier this month, according to the Cannabis Control Division.

The Jan. 6 approvals will allow Enchanted Botanicals LLC and Dulce Cannabis to open retail locations to sell recreation cannabis in Albuquerque. Enchanted Botanicals plans to open two locations, while Dulce Cannabis plans to open one, the respective owners said.
