Applications for ABQ's outdoor dining grant program due Monday

Albuquerque restaurants, cafes and breweries that can serve food have until Monday at 11:59 a.m. MST to apply for grants to help create or expand outdoor dining areas.

The city will award between $2,500 and $10,000 to businesses chosen via a lottery system, according to a news release.

The next round of awards will be announced on Aug. 12, Albuquerque Economic Development spokesperson Jennifer Esquivel said.
