Arizona-based Ascent Aviation expansion plans are underway in Roswell

An Arizona-based company will lease a building and some land from the city of Roswell as part of an expansion into the southern New Mexico city that is expected to create hundreds of jobs.

Roswell City Councilors in February unanimously agreed to lease a 5,200-square-foot building to Ascent Aviation, which plans to complete construction later this year of a large-scale hangar where it can perform its maintenance, repair and overhaul services.
