As New Mexico adult-use recreational cannabis sales begin, Jill Plaman's retail plans remain in limbo

Jill Plaman started her application to be an adult-use recreational cannabis retailer in New Mexico in December. But as cannabis sales begin Friday, Plaman has yet to receive final approval on the license. The hangup, she said, was a missing authorization from the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.
