Bouncing back: New Mexico's biggest hiring rounds of the decade

From serving cheesecake to operating cameras, thousands of jobs were created this past decade as New Mexico climbed out of one of the deepest recessions in recent memory.

At the downturn’s lowest point, New Mexico’s jobless rate peaked at 8.3 percent in the summer of 2010. As of this past October, the state had a 4.8 percent unemployment rate. 

Business First compiled a list of more than 20 hiring rounds with more than 200 job opportunities from the start of the decade.
