City files lawsuit: 'BYD will be held accountable in court'

Mayor Tim Keller announced Friday that the city of Albuquerque has filed a lawsuit against bus manufacturer Build Your Dreams for what the city argues was a failure to meet contractual obligations.

The 15 electric buses that were built for the Albuquerque Rapid Transit project were sent back to the manufacturer last month after bus drivers reported numerous issues that arose during testing and training.
