From the publisher: New Mexico deserves every penny

At one point, the biggest thing we expected to happen in the U.S. this year was the 2020 Census. Those were the days.

In addition to the Covid-19 pandemic and long-overdue national reckoning on racial inequity, we must also focus on the Census count, which is nearing its end. As business leaders, we have a unique voice and responsibility to encourage our employees to participate and be counted. That’s why I agreed to join Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s Census Business Subcommittee last year.
