Gov. names council of biz leaders to plan re-opening of NM's economy

To begin the process of lifting restrictions in place to stem the spread of Covid-19 infections that also put the economy in a stranglehold, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Wednesday announced the formation of an economic recovery council.

The council, which was announced as part of a news conference, will be made up of business leaders from across the state who will be tasked with helping guide the pace and scope of reopening the state’s economy.
