How NM colleges compare to the rest of the nation in the latest U.S. News & World Report list

University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University both made it onto this year’s U.S. News and World Report’s Best College Rankings Lists, however, one moved up the ranking while the other moved down. 

UNM tied for No. 187 out of 226, an improvement of five places over the last year. The graduation rate improved by four points to 48 percent, and the overall score increased by one point.
