March home sales remain strong as ABQ brokers and buyers adjust

March figures from the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® show the area’s residential housing market remained strong as sellers and buyers navigated statewide restrictions in place to limit the spread of COVID-19 infections.

However, it’s still too early to tell how effects of the COVID-19 restrictions will affect the local market, Sherry Fowler, GAAR’s 2020 president, said in the association’s news release announcing the March numbers.
