Meow Wolf cuts hundreds of jobs due to financial impacts from COVID-19

Santa Fe arts collective Meow Wolf, one of the most high-profile startups in New Mexico, is cutting hundreds of positions, citing the financial impact of restrictions meant to stem the spread of COVID-19.

The company will eliminate 201 positions. Another 56 employees will be furloughed until further notice. Staff were informed of the cuts and furloughs on Friday. The Santa Fe Reporter was the first to report news of the cuts Friday evening.
