New Mexico universities reassure diversity efforts amid Supreme Court decision

Public colleges nationwide will no longer be allowed to consider applicants’ racial background, otherwise known as affirmative action, in admissions processes after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional in a decision June 29.
