NM business leaders, officials react to new restrictions to slow Covid-19 spread

For the next two weeks, businesses in New Mexico will face restrictions and closures as state officials have instructed people to stay at home and only leave the house for essential needs.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and state officials said Friday that they reverted to earlier limitations on businesses because of a level of Covid-19 infections that makes it nearly impossible to keep state residents safe. The shutdown strategy has previously stemmed the spread of Covid-19 infections.…
