NM tech university lands $1 million for workforce training center

Navajo Technical University will receive over $1 million in federal funding to build a workforce training center on its Crownpoint campus.

It will be called the Metrology and Materials Center. The money will come from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration and will reimburse the university for expenses incurred for the new facility, according to Navajo Technical’s Kellogg Business Development Director Ben Jones.
