See the winners of the Hispano Chamber's Hispanic Heritage awards (slideshow)

The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce celebrated the winners of this year’s Hispanic Heritage awards at a ceremony earlier this month.

The theme for this year’s awards was “ConverGENTE y Cultura,” combines the words converge, to come together from different directions, and gente, the Spanish word for people, to celebrate Hispanic and Native American cultures, according to the chamber.
