On Friday, the Albuquerque International Sunport announced Dallas-based Southwest Airlines is ramping up its coverage from Albuquerque to Austin. Southwest previously had a weekend-only route from Austin, according to a news release.
Daily service is expected to begin Aug. 6 with a Boeing 737 aircraft.
