Sunport announces additional flights for Balloon Fiesta

The Albuquerque International Sunport is prepping for a busy Balloon Fiesta season by adding more capacity leading up to the event to better accommodate out-of-state travelers. American, Delta and United airlines have increased their flights by an average of 34 percent in the week before the event.

The weeks leading up to and following the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta are the second busiest travel period for the Sunport, following the holiday season.
