Construction starts on $15M medical respite facility at Gateway Center

Known as medical respite, the facility located inside the Gateway Center at 5400 Gibson Blvd. SE will offer medical care and short-term residential care to homeless people who are too ill to recover on the street, but not sick enough to warrant hospital-level treatment.
