Descartes Labs raises $20M, hires new C-suite exec

Santa Fe’s Descartes Labs has closed another investment round, bringing its total funding disclosed to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to over $50 million.

The round, which the company posted in a Form D filing with the SEC Oct. 4, is worth just under $20 million. North Carolina-based Union Grove Venture Partners led the round, which included a total of eight investors. Union Grove Managing Partner Patrick Cairns confirmed the lead investment but said he was unavailable to talk specifics.
