Kirtland on short list to host U.S. Space Command HQ

Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque is on the short list of six locations to be the potential headquarters for the U.S. Space Command, the federal entity that will oversee the operations of assets and personnel for the U.S. Space Force, according to a Thursday news release from the Air Force.
