Air Force: Space Command will not be headquartered in New Mexico

Despite the efforts of city and state officials, the U.S. Space Command is headed to Alabama.

Sarah Fiocco, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Air Force, confirmed that Huntsville, Alabama, has been selected as the preferred location for the headquarters for the Space Command, pending an environmental impact analysis.
