Adding staff to approve oil and gas well remediation permits could boost New Mexico's economy

Timely remediation and reclamation efforts would lead to job creation and direct economic impacts of an additional $426 million. Revenue from New Mexico’s Gross Receipts Tax could add an additional $30 million, according to a BBER study.
