Officials said 589 small businesses in Albuquerque applied for a portion of $10 million in grant money made available through the city’s Economic Development Department, according to a news release.
The first deadline for applications to the Small Business Economic Relief Grant Program came Oct. 30. Under the program, eligible businesses can receive one-time grants of up to $10,000 to offset the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
