Washington D.C. will require anyone from 27 states — including New Mexico to self-quarantine because of new surges in Covid-19 cases.
Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the self-quarantine order Friday, which calls for anyone visiting or traveling to the District for nonessential activities from states deemed hot spots to isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days. The order took effect Monday.
