Dispensaries in New Mexico communities nearest the Texas border sold more than $775,000 worth of adult-use recreational cannabis during the first weekend of sales, according to figures released Monday by the state’s Cannabis Control Division spokesperson Heather Brewer.
Among those, dispensaries in the eastern New Mexico communities of Hobbs, Clovis and Clayton recorded about $335,066 in sales, according to the data. Dispensaries in Deming, Las Cruces and Sunland recorded about $462,222 in sales.
