Economic Development Department has plans to market Borderplex region in its budget ask to state legislators

Part of the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s $4.5 million marketing plan presented to the Legislative Finance Committee last month includes a specific allocation for marketing campaigns in the Borderplex region, which state officials believe can be a hub for large-scale international manufacturers.

The marketing campaign request for the Borderplex region totals about $500,000 to market the region to manufacturers, EDD spokesman Bruce Krasnow said.
