Piñon Midstream’s new sour gas and carbon capture facility in Lea County went online in August and it’s already at its treatment capacity, cofounder Justin Bennett told Albuquerque Business First.
Founded in December 2020, the company broke ground in March on the facility, known as Dark Horse. It’s operating near its treating capacity of 85 million cubic feet per day. The company has 20 full-time and contract employees currently working at the facility.
