The widely-anticipated grand opening of NBCUniversal’s TV and film studio scheduled for Thursday has been postponed.
The announcement came after New Mexico learned on Wednesday morning that three residents are among the state’s first cases of the COVID–19 coronavirus.
In a news conference earlier Wednesday, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham declared a public health emergency and called for the cancellation or postponement of public events.
