Honeywell Aerospace, set to move operations out of the Duke City, filed a notice in late July notifying the state of an upcoming round of layoffs to its local workforce.
The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, filed with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions on July 31, says Honeywell Aerospace will lay off 177 employees between Sept. 30 and the end of January. It also says the facility is expected to close in January.
