Five days before the New Mexico Legislature session, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has rolled out her executive budget proposal for FY2020.
The new governor is calling for a $7.1 billion budget from the state’s general fund, a 13 percent increase year-over-year, according to a release. Among the increased budget, Lujan Grisham is calling for more money to education, job-creating incentives, among others.
