Mike Canfield was born and raised in Albuquerque’s North Valley, an area known for its lush farmland that runs along the Rio Grande and an entrepreneurial culture that has spawned numerous wineries, spas and farmers markets.
His first glimpse of this entrepreneurial spirit came at a young age as he watched his dad, a mechanic, run his own gas station. He saw both his successes and challenges, and knew by the time he reached junior high school that being a businessman was in his blood.
