More than 40 state leaders named to New Mexico Governor’s Council for Racial Justice

State residents from across all ages, races and ethnicities will gather to discuss how to dismantle systemic racism as part of the Governor’s Council for Racial Justice.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday announced the 43 members she appointed, via an email statement.

The council’s first gathering is not yet scheduled but will meet virtually in the coming weeks, the statement said.
