A work search waiver for New Mexico residents receiving unemployment benefits will end July 18.
In a news release, the state Department of Workforce Solutions said on Monday the waiver had been in place since March for those who lost their job or had hours reduced as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
After the waiver expires next month, those receiving benefits will need to verify they sought work at least twice each week when submitting their certification, the release said.
