Citing the level of Covid-19 infections in New Mexico, state officials have reversed course and will continue to waive work search requirements for those receiving unemployment benefits, according to a news release.
New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions spokesperson Stacy Johnston said the waiver will be continued until further notice.
Work search efforts were scheduled to begin as a requirement this week, submitted during the weekly certification process beginning Oct. 25.
