NM to ease additional restrictions on businesses June 1

Over the past 78 days, hundreds of New Mexico residents have died from Covid-19 infections, thousands have contracted the virus and tens of thousands have lost wages or their jobs.

On Thursday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham during a news conference signaled that restrictions that began March 11 have been working. They helped to to stem the spread of Covid-19 infections enough that more kinds of businesses will be able to open on June 1, she said.
