Proposed New Mexico film academy aims to bring more of the workforce into the film industry

The media academy was first introduced by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham in her 2022 legislative agenda and was mentioned as a way to shape the state’s future through a 20-year economic report conducted by California-based SRI International on behalf of New Mexico’s Economic Development Department.
