A segment of central New Mexico’s rail service is set to get a multimillion-dollar investment.
Texas-based BNSF Railway released its 2019 capital program for New Mexico on Wednesday, which calls for $80 million to be pumped into the state. The investment will include more than 850 miles of track surfacing, the replacement of about 20 miles of rail and laying roughly 200,000 railroad ties.
