BBVA USA will close most of its 637 branch lobbies and instead provide drive-thru service to protect the health and well-being of customers and employees as the nation works to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the company announced in a Friday news release.
On March 20, the majority of BBVA branches will move to drive-thru only, while some locations without drive-thru service or in close proximity to branches with active drive-thrus will close.
