The state minimum wage will increase at the start of the new year, a result of amendments to the Minimum Wage Act signed by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham in 2019.
Starting on Jan. 1, 2022, the minimum wage will increase to $11.50 per hour for employees. Tipped employees will see their hourly pay upped to $2.80 an hour.
