UNM official among seven considered to be next University of Central Florida president

Dr. Richard Larson of the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is among seven candidates being considered to become the University of Central Florida’s next president, according to the Orlando Business Journal, a sister publication.

Larson, the Health Sciences Center vice chancellor, was chosen from 45 applicants to advance in the executive selection process. He could not immediately be reached for comment. Larson’s annual salary at the University of New Mexico is $312,648, according…
