John Silva sees a lot of similarities between himself and his staff at Jabil.
Silva, the plant manager at Jabil’s Albuquerque facility, grew up in New Mexico and attended the University of New Mexico. A number of his staff of more than 360 employees have similar backgrounds. While local business leaders have expressed concern about talented workers leaving the state, Silva said Jabil [NYSE: JBL] isn’t experiencing that problem.
