With shutdown looming, credit unions offer financial help to federal workers

Although a tentative extension agreement has been hammered out through mid-March in Congress, roughly 20% of the federal government will shut down if a deal can’t be reached to fund those agencies, potentially leaving thousands of federal workers without paychecks for as long as a shutdown lasts.
