3D printing manufacturer approved for city incentives

A month after announcing an expansion, incentives for Jabil Inc. have been backed by the Albuquerque City Council.

The city council approved ordinances for Nypro Healthcare Baja Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Florida-based Jabil [NYSE: JBL], for $36 million in industrial revenue bonds and $250,000 in Local Economic Development Act funds for its 233,136-square-foot manufacturing facility, 3801 University Ave. SE, on Wednesday. The state is also expected to commit up to $750,000 in LEDA dollars.
