ABQ firm wins architecture award for transformation of historic NM building (slideshow)

An Albuquerque architecture firm took home a prestigious award for transforming a Las Vegas historical landmark into a state-of-the-art facility.

Baker A+D was this recipient of this year’s Jeff Harnar Award for its work on the McCaffrey Historic Trolley Barn project, which transformed a 100-year-old stone structure into the new home of the New Mexico Highlands University’s media arts program.
