ABQ metro commuters have saved an estimated 46 minutes each day during Covid-19 closures

Commuters in the Albuquerque metro area have saved about 46 minutes each day since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in mid-March. That’s according to one California-based company that tried to quantify just how much remote working and business closures have reduced commute times.

According to Upwork, the estimated 46 minutes saved by Albuquerque drivers is about the median time saved for commuters, and is on par with commuters in Jackson, Mississippi, Janesville, Wisconsin, Fort Collins, Colorado…
