Albuquerque officials hope to provide a new resource for minority-owned, mid-sized businesses to gain access to capital, contract opportunities and more by the end of the year.
At a news conference Monday, Mayor Tim Keller and Albuquerque Economic Development Director Synthia Jaramillo unveiled plans for the Minority Business Development Center. The city will launch the venture after receiving a $300,000 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency.
